Singers

Maria Lawson

MARIA LAWSON

Maria found fame on Britain’s biggest talent show, the X Factor, which stars Simon Cowell. She was one of the favourites to win under mentor Sharon Osbourne in 2005. Following a controversial exit from the show, which made national headlines, Maria went on to sign to Sony BMG in 2006 and recorded her debut album in LA with a song written by Diane Warren. Her self titled album was released later that year and charted with a top 20 single Sleepwalking.

Maria also signed a lingerie modelling deal with Bravissimo after being recognised on the show. Maria has held a publishing deal for her songwriting talents and provided vocals for a range of artists including Gabrielle, Kelly Clarkson and Anita Baker.

Maria’s latest album, Emotional Rollercoaster, has been produced by Brian Rawling. The album shows off Maria’s talent as one of the UK’s premiere singer and songwriter artists. Emotional Rollercoaster is due out later this year through Right Track Music/ Universal Music Operations.

Maria has also written a book about her experience, ‘Life Starts Now’ which is out now.

Michael Jackson is one of Maria’s biggest inspirations and she is excited to make her West End debut in Thriller – Live. She is grateful for all the help and support from everyone involved in making it possible.

Ricko Baird

RICKO BAIRD

Ricko Baird grew up in St Louis Missouri, where he started dancing at a very young age on the neighbourhood street corners. By the age of 12 he was adopted by a well known and inspirational dance teacher performing with their troop Team on local TV and going on to win a national tap competition in Germany.

Making a move to Los Angeles in 1996, Ricko has gone on to dance in concerts and videos with artists such as Janet Jackson, Tina Turner, Britney Spears, Christina Agulliera and many of the world's greatest artists. He has also choreographed for Mya, winning an award for best choreography for 'My Love is Like Wo' and choreographing for Jennifer Lopez.

Ricko's talent and expertise covers a wide spectrum as a performer culminating in the ultimate performance with Michael Jackson himself on the 'Michael Jackson and Friends' tour as a lead dancer on the award-winning dance number 'Dangerous'. Ricko also co-choreographed Michael's number one hit 'You Rock My World' and doubled for him in the video.

As a singer himself, Ricko is working on his own album and material and looks set to join the long line of artists he himself has worked with and been inspired by.

Ricko is very pleased to be here performing with THRILLER LIVE.

John Moabi

JOHN MOABI

Ben Forster

BEN FORSTER

Ben was 16 he moved from Sunderland to London to pursue his career and trained at The Italia Conti Academy of Performing Arts.

Ben made his West End debut at the age of 18 in Eon’s production of La Cava. He then moved onto a role in the West End production of Lennon & McCartney’s Musical All You Need Is Love it was whilst being involved in this show that Ben discovered his love of great songs and started to dabble in song-writing. At the age of 20, Ben was on the hunt for a record deal and signed with an independent label based in the North West. At this point Ben was asked to return to the West End in the musical Grease where he played the part of Doody, later taking the show to Tokyo, Japan. He returned back to the music scene and signed with Nigel Lythgoe’s international management company and worked closely with them in London and LA. Ben has since been gigging the London music scene and regularly plays at London’s top venues.

Ben is SO excited about being part of the Thriller Live company. Thanks again to Mam & Dad. Ben loves his bean.

Roger Wright

ROGER WRIGHT

Roger Wright began his career as an international model, shooting campaigns with top model agencies in London, New York, Milan and Paris.

His career change from modelling to musical theatre began when he walked into the wrong room whilst on his way to a TV commercial casting. Theatre Director Paul Kerryson was looking for a lead to play in "Hot Stuff" and invited Roger to sing, and the rest is history!

Following his musical theatre debut at the Leicester Haymarket Theatre, Roger went on to play Cab Calloway in "The Blues Brothers" (UK/German Tour), before being cast in the lead role of Simba in "The Lion King" (Original cast, directed by Julie Taymor, Lyceum Theatre). He then went on to play Simba at the Disney Resort in Paris in the show "The Legend of The Lion King", directed by Craig Revel Horwood.

Roger is also a singer/songwriter and was in the pop group Fresh with his brother Steven (East West Records) which had chart success.

Roger is delighted to be appearing in ‘Thriller Live'.

Earl Perkins

EARL PERKINS

Carole Stennett

CAROLE STENNETT

Singer/performer Carole was raised in North London and kick started her career by joining the school gospel choir. Carole soon realised that singing and entertaining people was her passion and began performing at every opportunity given; including talent shows, school plays, weddings, GMTV’s Get Up & Give, Sugar Jam and BBC Radio 2’s Gospel Train.

Carole studied A Level Drama then went on to complete a combined degree in Mass Communications and Film Studies.

Since then, Carole has sung in several professional gospel choirs and groups and has had the privilege to perform regionally and nationally including touring Japan and Ghana.

More recently, Carole has completed an 18 month run as Nala in The Legend of the Lion King at Disneyland Resort Paris and as lead singer in The Twelve Days of Christmas (Tilbury Docks). She has also appeared in Hello magazine and The Stage newspaper.

Carole currently works as a lead female vocalist for a 70’s tribute band, a backing vocalist for unsigned artists in the genres of neo-soul, rock, R&B and gospel. She also works as a session singer and a singing teacher for two performing arts agencies located in and around London.

Kieran Alleyne

KIERAN ALLEYNE

Kieran is one 1 of five children, he has three brothers and one sister. He attends Abington High School, Wigston, Leicester. He has attended singing lessons since the age of eight and from this year he moved to the Leicester Vocal Tech Academy where he enjoys singing, dancing and drama classes. Vocal Tech perform regularly and most recently they performed a Michael Jackson tribute concert in which Kieran sang various solo's and duet's with other cast members.

Kieran took part in Idol 2008, where he successfully reached the regional finals in Wolverhampton and came third. He has sung at the Leicester Carnival Queen show at Leicester De Montfort Hall and at the opening of the new Curve Theatre.

Kieran’s other love is basketball, he plays local league with the Leicester Warriors and has represented East Midlands at national level. He also has been accepted for training with the Midlands training squad.

In the future, Kieran has expressed an interest in getting a recording contract and singing his own records. His favourite music along with Michael Jackson is soul and R&B and he likes the songs recorded by artists such as Lemar, R Kelly, Neo and Boys 2 Men.

Mitchell Zhangazha

MITCHELL ZHANGAZHA

Mitchell is fourteen and lives in Hadley Wood, Hertfordshire. He started acting professionally from the age of 4, playing the role of Itis in The Three Birds at the Gate Theatre.

At the age of seven, he moved on to West End Musicals including the role of Toby in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang at The London Palladium, Young Simba in The Lion King at the Lyceum, Jackie Thibodeaux in Caroline or Change at The National, Scipio in Porgy and Bess at The Savoy. In 2007, Mitchell was offered the role of Kwasi in an Opera by a Dutch company called The Two Hearts of Kwasi Boachi after a nationwide search. The Opera toured Theatres in Rotterdam and Amsterdam.

Mitchell’s TV credits are numerous and include; as a featured artist in a mini video film for the Rock Band, Ash, the role of Tom Raeburn in Red Cap (BBC), Quincy in The Little Einsteins (Disney, Series I & II), Francis Barber in Samuel Johnson’s period Drama/Documentary (BBC). Mitchell has also appeared many times on ITV 1’s “The X Factor” as a dancer with Chico Slimani in his ‘It’s Chico Time’ and ‘D.I.S.C.O’ singles and videos. He also took part in the 2007 ‘X Factor’ as a backing singer for Rhydian and Same Difference.

Mitchell has also appeared in many commercials including Domestos, Heinz Soup, Daily Mail Newspaper, Walkers Crisps with Gary Lineker, NSPCC as an abused child, Anti Smoking Campaign and Brantano Shoes.

He has also done a Radio voice over for Action Aid. Recently Mitchell was Young Mustafa in Season of Migration to the North for BBC radio drama.

Mitchell has been playing until March, the role of Handwalker in Fagin’s gang with Rowan Atkinson in the Musical, Oliver! at Drury Lane, a part he thoroughly enjoyed.

He is also currently in the studio working on his own original material with some writers/producers.

Mitchell is delighted to rejoin the cast of Thriller having been part of the successful last two tours in UK, Germany and the Netherlands.

STERLING WILLIAMS

Sterling is 13 years old and lives in Mitcham. Through Silvia Young Agency, he has worked in TV, film and theatre including ‘Robbie Broadbent’ and ‘Billy Hawkins’ in Casualty for the BBC, ‘King’ in the feature film It’s All Gone Pete Tong and ‘Young Simba’ in The Lion King at the Lyceum Theatre, London. He is looking forward to appearing in Thriller in Thriller Live.

Jo Dyce

JO DYCE - Dancer & Resident Director

Jo started dancing at the age of three training at The Dance Studios in Nottingham. At the age of 11, Jo became part of the Central Television Workshop where she made her first TV appearance in the children's series The Worst Witch as the part of Ruby Cherrytree. Theatre credits include being a swing, featured dancer and dance captain in The Genius of Ray Charles (Haymarket Theatre, UK and US tour, Monte carlo, India, Lyon and Niagara falls).

Other credits include: performing with Sir Cliff Richard and Shirley Bassey on The Royal Variety Performance 2005, ITV's Avenue of the Stars, Woolworths Red Carpet Bash, The One and Only (BBC1) where she was both assistant and a featured dancer, featured dancer in Leon Jackson’s single (Creative).

Most recently Jo has performed with Boyzone on their Back Again...No Matter What tour 2008 as well as live performances on The Late Late Show, The Fashion Show and Children In Need.

Jo is thrilled to be part of Thriller Live once again and would like to thank her family and friends for all their love and support and Gary Lloyd for giving her this opportunity.

Yasmin Yazdi

YASMIN YAZDI - Dance Captain

Yasmin trained at the Urdang Academy in Convent Garden. After graduating in 2001 she went on to further her education at Vocal Tech in Acton, London.

Yasmin’s first professional job was as a featured dancer in a Paul McCartney video and since then has worked as a session singer, songwriter, choreographer and performer for various record companies. Yasmin had a single released in Barcelona “Rain on me “ performed by the artist Beth. She toured the UK with girl group “Nishe” performing at Jammin In The Park and other road shows. In 2001 Yasmin also opened up her own performance school “The Pop factory” for young performers, focusing on dance and singing. She is part of hip-hop crew “Femme Fatale” winners of the Southern Street Dance Championships.

She first performed with THRILLER LIVE at the World Music Awards in a tribute performance of 'Thriller' with Chris Brown. This is her third tour with the show and she is delighted to be a part of it!

Lewis Davies

LEWIS DAVIES

Lewis studied at Bodywork Co, Cambridge. His theatre credits include: Hairspray (Shaftesbury Theatre, West End), Trevor Nunn’s Porgy & Bess (Savoy Theatre, West End), Thriller Live (Dominion Theatre, Germany & UK Tour), Swing, and understudying and playing Tyrone Jackson in Fame (Aldwych Theatre, West End), Featured Dancer in The Genius of Ray Charles (Haymarket Theatre, West End), JT in Oh! What a Night (UK & European Tour), Ensemble in I Can’t Stop Loving You (Reno, USA), Tyrone Jackson in Fame (Malta), Apollo MC in Buddy (Isle of Man), Ensemble in Fame (UK Tour), Derek in Home for Christmas (Cambridge), and Ritchie in A Chorus Line (Cambridge). He was a featured dancer in Showtime in Malta and has also been a backing dancer on Fragma V’s Coco’s Concert Tour.

Lewis has appeared on television as Lead Dancer in It’s Now or Never (September Films, ITV), Sabrina The Teenage Witch, a pilot video for Dance Mastersand pop video’s for Canteena and Word on the Street. Lewis is happy to be back in the West End, this time in Thriller Live and would like to thank his family and girlfriend Yasmin for their wonderful support.

Christabelle Field

CHRISTABELLE FIELD

Christabelle has been dancing since she was 3 years old. In 2003 she was placed first at Blackpool's Winter Gardens as Latin American Dancer, Medalist of the Year. She graduated from Masters Performing Arts College in 2006 and since has starred in a commercial for Nintendo Wii, danced in various fashion, corporate and hair shows including Wella International, KMS California, Superdrug Annual Ball and Metro Ski and Snowboard show. She has performed with the Pineapple Dance Troupe in the Street Divas DVD and has appeared on X Factor as a featured dancer working under Brian Friedman.

Christabelle has spent most of 2008 training and dancing with Dance 2XS UK, an experience and opportunity she is honoured to have been a part of. As a teacher and choreographer she has trained and inspired young dancers, many of whom have gone on to win national Streetdance competitions and perform in music videos and appear on ITV and the BBC themselves. Christabelle teaches throughout Essex but has a special mention to "Wiggles Dance Club" and is very proud of everything the school has achieved.

Jordan Darrell

JORDAN DARRELL

Jordan graduated from training at Cambridge Performing arts in 2006.

He left college early after landing an ensemble part in West End show "Daddy Cool", based on the Music sensation Boney M. After a run at the Shaftesbury Theatre the show went to Berlin, Germany and Jordan went with it taking the role of Assistant Dance Captain.

Jordan has recently appeared as a featured dancer on BBC1's 'One and Only', ITV's one off special 'Saturday Night Divas'. He has also danced and been assistant choreographer for stars such as Jamelia and Chaka Chan, and was the winning contestant of Living TV's 'Dirty Dancing' filmed in Virginia.

Other professional Credits include, Model for 2008 Burton Spring/Summer Collection Launch, Various Pantomimes and music video for recording artist Sonny Jim. Jordan is delighted to be part of the THRILLER LIVE tour as Michael Jackson has always been an inspiration.

Kamilah Afiyah Beckles

KAMILAH AFIYAH BECKLES

Kamilah Afiyah Beckles gained a BTEC National Diploma in Dance and then went on to Train at Masters Performing Arts College.

Since graduating in July 2007 her recent credits have been, "The Ray Charles Musical" touring Monte Carlo, India and Lyon, Woolworths "Big Carpet Bash", Toochi 'I Respent' music video, Bingo Lotto Commercial, The Royal Variety Performance in Germany and Austria for music artist Seal, Chaliya Bollywood film in Grecce and The BBC's 'The One and Only'.

Kamilah is excited to be apart of a production that pays tribute to such an iconic artist & great influence to the arts.

Elliot James

ELLIOT JAMES

Elliot started dancing at the age of 12 at the Shan Jones School of Dance in Nottingham and a year later was offered a scholarship at the British Ballet Organization. After graduating from the Midlands Academy and London Studio Centre, Elliot began working in live TV on Top Of The Pops, CD:UK, T4, ITV, Pop World, as well as pop videos with artists including Rachel Stevens, Ministry of Sound, Kelly Lorrena, Beverly Knight, and V. He then spent a year on the Ocean Village cruise ship before joining the Pineapple Dance Troupe with Paulette Minott, recording Pineapple dance DVD’s and numerous other live events.

Daddy Cool was Elliot’s first West End show which later went on tour to Europe. Next Elliot toured with Spirit Of The Dance and has recently appeared on The X Factor.

Samantha Jackson

SAMANTHA JACKSON

Sam began performing aged just two years old and has grown up with the privilege of working with some amazing talents. Having trained as a youngster at Hewitt Performing arts, Finch stage school and Youngstars she has recently graduated from London Studio Centre.

Various credits include: The X Factor, CD:UK, SMTV Live, Street Divas and Everybody Dance Pineapple DVD, “The Key The Secret” - Kiss 100 tour, ‘Janet’ – The Rocky Horror Show (P&O cruises) Blitz!, The Railway Children and The Sound of Music (Queens Theatre Hornchurch)

Music videos include: The Devine Comedy, Natalia, Freefaller, Flashdance and Morde. Sam also dances for Inko dancers.

Having just returned from touring Austria with the play ‘Virgins’ directed by John Retallack she is delighted to be joining the cast of Thriller Live.

Sam would like to thank her Mum and Dad for letting her live her dreams. “Wish I were you, and you were me...”

Richard Smikle

RICHARD SMIKLE

Richard started dancing at the age of three, at 17 he went on to train at Masters Performing Arts College. Since graduating Richard has been involved in several hair and fashion show including ones for L'oreal & Wella.

He has also appeared in TV shows such as, Children in Need, The One & Only, The Brits, Ant and Dec's Saturday Takeaway and The Royal Variety Performance along side Duffy and The Pussycat Dolls. Recent work has involved Girls Aloud and Adidas.

His theatre work includes, I Can't Stop Loving You - The Music of Ray Charles and the 2008 UK tour of Thriller Live!

Richard is excited to be a part of Thriller Live! in the West End and would like to thank family and friends for endless love and support.

Scott Maurice

SCOTT MAURICE - Dancer and Lead Male Dancer Understudy

Born in London, Scott started his career in the entertainment industry at the age of sixteen, with a scholarship to Pineapple Performing Arts and went on to gain three distinctions in Musical Theatre at Hertford Regional College. He was invited back to Pineapple to teach dance and has appeared on Top Of The Pops, Blue Peter, BBC’s Proms in the Park and MTV’s Lynx Boom Chicka Wah Wah Rally in Miami to name a few. Having performed his own material at The Original Songwriters in London and on BBC Radio 1Xtra, Scott recently had his first taste as a recording artist on the Warner Music release. Scott made his West End debut in Never Forget, having been part of the original cast on the UK tour in 2007, then went on to the Fame UK tour covering and playing Tyrone.

Scott is thrilled to be apart of the Thriller Live cast. Michael Jackson has been such an influence, and Scott would like to dedicate his performance to his Mum, Dad, Grandparents, MJ and God.

Laurie Delaney

LAURIE DELANEY

Laurie is originally from Sheffield and at the age of 17 appeared in "A Chorus Line" directed by Nikolai Foster at The Crucible Theatre. From here she began her training at The Urdang Academy in London, where she had the privilege of playing lead roles such as Mary (Jesus Christ Superstar), Fustrada (Pippin) Cinderella's Stepmother (Into the Woods) and Mimi (Rent).

Laurie was recently involved with the West End International Company in La Coruna, Spain, performing The Music of Andrew Lloyd Webber in Concert as well as doing various performances with the West End Gospel Choir.


 


Laurie is very excited to be making her West End debut in Thriller Live! and would like to thank all her family and friends for their endless love and support!

Luke Sabatini

LUKE SABATINI

Luke trained at Masters Performing Arts College graduating in July 2008.

His credits include Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat, A Night At The Musicals, C.I.T.V. 'Star', Eastenders, The John Culshaw Show, Midsomer Murders, Alexander (film), Ask Me Nothing (film), Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, Wella Hair Show, D.H.T. Listen  To Your Heart music video, The Beatles Musical Can't Buy Me Love, Windsor Theatre Royal, Woolworths Red Carpet Bash live!, High School Musical UK Premier 02 Arena and the BBC's The One and Only.

John Maher

JOHN MAHER - MUSICAL DIRECTOR, GUITAR, KEYBOARD 2

After completing a music degree at the Sydney Conservatorium, John became one of the busiest and most successful Musical Directors in his native Australia. He was MD of RENT, The Rocky Horror Show (8 productions, so far…), Return To The Forbidden Planet, Oh! What A Night, The Complete Millennium Musical, Chair In the Landscape, Lipstick Dreams, Songs From Side Show Alley, Pizza Live On Stage, Who Let The Wogs Out?, Long Gone Lonesome Cowgirls, Virtual Unreality, Ricordi, and many others.

Since moving to London in 2002, John has been MD of Dancing In The Streets (West End, European Tour and UK tour), Hedwig And The Angry Inch, The Next Big Thing, Departure Lounge, Grease, RENT (again!), Rocky Horror (again!!), Jesus Christ Superstar (Scandinavia), What A Swell Party (Cyprus) and on the cult hit Dude, Where’s My Teddy? (Wimbledon and Edinburgh). John was one of the regular conductors of the Queen musical We Will Rock You in London for several years. Other work in the UK and Europe includes Godspell, Fame and Evita (Lebanon), as well as numerous concerts. He has played keyboards and guitar with The Guild Of Thieves (13 piece soul band) and was the guitarist for some time with legendary band The Drifters. In 2008, John was the MD of the Dream On concert at the London Palladium, and has just finished as MD of the world premiere season of Can’t Smile Without You.

John also composes music for stage and film. He worked for many years with Australia’s national Shakespeare Company, Bell Shakespeare. A particular highlight was his score for Steven Berkoff’s acclaimed production of Coriolanus. Other scores for Bell included Much Ado About Nothing, The Tempest, and A Midsummer Night’s Dream. John also appeared as a live musician in Bell’s productions of Twelfth Night and Pericles. Other music for theatre includes Death And Taxes (by Andrew Upton), Ashes To Ashes (with Toni Collette), Paradise, Animalia, Telling Tales, Then The Mountain Comes, Faust’s House, Eat Cake, Jingle Belrose, and the ballet scores Of Dust And Men and Thermoplyae Revisited.

John arranged and conducted the strings for the animated feature film Snow White: The Sequel (narrated by Stephen Fry). He has composed music for many short films, including Jacko, The Bill, Putting Kids First, The Other Half, Trattoria Paradiso, ’98, and Love, Mickey.

John also works as a director. His credits in Australia include Miracle City, Angry Penguins, Up The Shops, Meet You At The Mona Lisa and Long Gone Lonesome Cowgirls. In the UK and Europe he has directed Jesus Christ Superstar, Departure Lounge (twice), Hedwig And The Angry Inch (twice), and Unzipped – The Ultimate Package Musical. He recently directed a wonderful new musical with the eye-popping title Everything’s F**ked.

John has been the Musical Supervisor and Musical Director of Thriller Live throughout all of its UK and European tours, and he is delighted to be here for its inaugural West End season.

Accy Yeats

ACCY YEATS - PERCUSSION

Accy is from Horsham in Sussex and has been a professional musician since 1990.

During a varied and fun packed career, he has performed with artists ranging from Elton John and George Michael to Lulu, David Essex and The Supremes, and has recently finished a nationwide tour with ‘Loose Women’s’ Jane McDonald. He has also worked with Sooty and Sweep!

Accy has also worked on many West End productions including Mamma Mia, Grease, Never Forget and Dancing in the Streets as well as numerous National and European Tour.

Interesting fact?..........Accy is a keen sports fan and a qualified cricket coach!

Oliver Latka

OLIVER LATKA - BASS

After graduating from the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (LIPA) in 1999, Oliver has worked as a bass player on many theatre productions. Damien Cooper

DAMIEN COOPER - GUITAR 1

Damien Cooper is a guitarist from Sydney, Australia. After 20 years of playing and touring around Australasia with acts covering styles from jazz to rock to cabaret, Damien relocated to London. Since then he has worked on Jesus Christ Superstar (Scandinavia tour), Hegwig And The Angry Inch (London), Godspell, Dancing In The Streets (UK and European tour), and in the West End on Bill Kenwright's Dream On at the Palladium and Never Forget at the Savoy.

Damien has also worked and toured with original acts such as Son Veneno, MC Mystro, Zena James, and is currently involved in an original jazz project. Having played guitar on Thriller Live since its inception, Damien is delighted to be here in the West End.

Mike Bradley

MIKE BRADLEY - DRUMS

UK-based drummer Mike Bradley is much in demand both on the pop/funk session and jazz scene in the UK and internationally. He is featured on the albums of international artists Natalie Cole and David Cassidy as well as numerous jazz albums comprising his own original material.

He is and has frequently been first call for many of London’s leading big bands and several West End shows, including Dirty Dancing, Rat Pack, the Genius of Ray Charles, Soul Train, Blood Brothers and Hedwig and the Angry Inch.

Mike is currently working extensively in London and Europe with several leading jazz vocalists and with John Etheridge’s Frank Zappa tribute band, Zappatistas. This follows a worldwide tour with the acclaimed jazz close harmony group the Swingle Singers (USA, Asia, Europe) and appearances supporting Mike Stern in Austria.

In 1989 he co-founded the popular fusion band Roadside Picnic, making two critically acclaimed albums and appearing at the Montreux Jazz Festival. The band featured jazz saxophonist Dave O’Higgins, with whom he went on to form the award-winning band Gang Of Three with virtuoso bassist Laurence Cottle.

Mike has worked closely over two decades with some of the world’s greatest jazz musicians, notably Mark Murphy, Georgie Fame, Ronnie Scott, Rosemary Clooney, John Dankworth and Cleo Laine, Acoustic Alchemy, Ernestine Anderson, Nelson Rangell, Andy Sheppard, Claire Martin and Jason Rebello.

Mike is also an extremely popular artist at major jazz festivals in both the UK and Europe and after 20 years on the scene he continues to delight both jazz and rock audiences alike.

Mike Guy

MIKE GUY - KEYBOARD 1

Across a professional music career of more than ten years, spanning three continents, Mike has been heavily involved in a wide variety of musical genres and performing situations. In conjunction with his busy schedule as a professional performer, Mike has also been involved in a host of performance and recording projects of a more contemporary nature, featuring his own compositions, and is planning to further develop these projects in the near future.

To further still his music career, Mike moved to London in February 2005. Throughout this time, he has played with a variety of local performers including jazz-funk guitarist Carl Orr, jazz-soul singer Nina Ferro, UK latin luminaries Roberto Pla and Osvaldo Chacon, and swing singer Richard Shelton. In May, Mike was invited to perform with violinist Sophie Solomon on her debut European tour, performing ten dates across the Netherlands, Brussels, France and Germany. a

At present he is currently performing regularly at a variety of venues in and around central London including Cafe De Paris, The National Theatre, Quaglinos, Oxo Tower, Pimlico Wine Vaults, Bar 606 Blackfriars, Spice Of Life, among others.
